Shipping Policy

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. About this policy

This Shipping Policy applies to products delivered by:

AC OZ PTY LTD trading as Oz Audio
ABN 60 627 495 792

Oz Audio delivers orders throughout Australia.

We do not currently offer international delivery unless expressly agreed in writing before purchase.

2. Delivery address

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address when ordering.

Oz Audio is not responsible for additional costs or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If an address needs to be changed, contact sales@ozaudio.com.au immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing or dispatch begins.

We will not redirect an order where doing so creates an unacceptable fraud or delivery risk.

3. Shipping charges

Shipping charges are calculated or displayed at checkout unless delivery is expressly included in the product price or quote.

Charges may depend on:

  • destination;

  • parcel size and weight;

  • product type;

  • delivery service;

  • insurance requirements; and

  • remote-area or carrier surcharges.

Any shipping charge accepted at checkout forms part of the order price.

4. Processing and dispatch

Processing begins after payment has cleared and required vehicle or fitment information has been received.

Processing may include:

  • checking compatibility;

  • allocating or ordering stock;

  • assembling a kit;

  • programming components;

  • manufacturing or 3D printing;

  • quality checks; and

  • packing the order.

Estimated processing times may appear on the product page, checkout, quotation or order correspondence.

Products described as custom-made, programmed, assembled-to-order, backordered or pre-ordered may require additional time.

5. Delivery estimates

Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless Oz Audio expressly agrees to a fixed date in writing.

Estimated delivery time begins after dispatch, not when the order is placed.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • remote destinations;

  • carrier delays;

  • public holidays;

  • weather;

  • road closures;

  • supplier delays;

  • peak periods; and

  • events outside reasonable control.

Oz Audio will provide accurate information about known material delays and will provide a remedy where required under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Tracking

Tracking information will be provided where available.

Tracking may take time to activate after a shipping label is created.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and ensuring somebody can receive the parcel where required.

7. Split deliveries

Orders containing multiple products may be sent separately because of product size, stock location or processing requirements.

Where this occurs, the customer may receive multiple tracking numbers and parcels.

A partial delivery does not necessarily mean an item is missing.

8. Authority to leave and delivery instructions

Delivery options depend on the carrier and destination.

Where a customer gives authority to leave a parcel, the carrier may leave it at the nominated address without obtaining a signature.

Customers should only provide authority to leave where there is a safe and suitable location.

Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility Oz Audio or the carrier may have under applicable law.

9. PO boxes and restricted addresses

Some large, dangerous, high-value or carrier-restricted products cannot be delivered to PO boxes, parcel lockers or certain remote addresses.

If the selected address cannot be serviced, Oz Audio will contact the customer to arrange another address, delivery method or appropriate solution.

Additional delivery charges will be disclosed before being applied.

10. Missed and failed deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may:

  • leave instructions;

  • take the parcel to a collection point;

  • attempt redelivery; or

  • return it to Oz Audio.

Customers are responsible for collecting or rearranging delivery within the carrier’s stated period.

Reasonable redelivery or return-to-sender costs may be charged where the failed delivery resulted from:

  • an incorrect address supplied by the customer;

  • failure to collect the parcel;

  • refusal of a correctly supplied order; or

  • the customer being unavailable where attendance was required.

Any charge will be disclosed before redelivery.

11. Lost or significantly delayed orders

If tracking shows no meaningful progress or an order has not arrived within a reasonable time, contact sales@ozaudio.com.au.

Oz Audio will investigate with the carrier.

Customers will not be required to resolve a covered loss directly with the carrier.

Where an order is confirmed lost or cannot be supplied within the agreed time or a reasonable time, Oz Audio will provide the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law.

12. Damaged deliveries

Customers should inspect deliveries as soon as reasonably possible.

If a parcel or product arrives damaged, email sales@ozaudio.com.au with:

  • the order number;

  • a description of the damage;

  • photographs of the product;

  • photographs of the outer and inner packaging; and

  • a photograph of the shipping label.

Customers should retain the product and packaging while the claim is assessed.

Original packaging may assist a freight investigation, but absence of original packaging does not remove rights relating to faulty or damaged goods under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Incorrect or incomplete deliveries

If Oz Audio sends the wrong product or omits an ordered item, contact sales@ozaudio.com.au.

Oz Audio will arrange an appropriate remedy and will cover reasonable associated shipping costs where the error was ours.

14. Risk and ownership

Ownership of products passes to the customer after full payment has been received.

Responsibility for the product passes on delivery to the nominated address or recipient, subject to applicable consumer law and any responsibility Oz Audio or the carrier has for loss or damage.

15. Order cancellation

Customers may request cancellation before processing begins.

Once stock has been allocated or ordered, packing has begun, programming or assembly has started, or custom manufacturing or 3D printing has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled for change-of-mind reasons unless Oz Audio agrees otherwise.

An order is not cancelled until Oz Audio confirms it in writing.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

If Oz Audio cannot supply an order within the agreed time or a reasonable time, or a product is lost, damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied, the customer may be entitled to a remedy.
